A Message From The Chair
It’s that time of the season when we naturally pause to reflect on the accomplishments of the past year – and our resolutions for the upcoming one. At NCBTMB, 2007 has been charged with new initiatives, new faces and new communications. Most importantly, there’s been a renewed commitment to excellence in leadership and vision.
New Initiatives
NCBTMB launched a wide-range of ambitious initiatives, all developed to make the organization more effective and more efficient. From online forms that streamline the application process and distance education policies that incorporate the changing needs of students to leadership development programs that strengthen the skills of staff and volunteers, NCBTMB truly has made great strides.
New Faces
We continue our pledge to improve the experience of every person who interacts with NCBTMB. From our newly created volunteer positions in government relations and school outreach to staff positions in customer service and school administration, we’re determined to better serve practitioners, consumers and educators.
New Communications
NCBTMB introduced a revitalized brand with a contemporary look designed to communicate the energy, excitement and commitment of a new era. And NCBTMB continues to reach out, launching a redesigned user-friendly website, creating an environmentally friendly e-newsletter, establishing an in-house call center and hosting regional Board receptions.
New Horizons
As I look back, I am impressed by the amazing accomplishments of our volunteers, Board members and staff in the past year. I know that the months ahead are bringing new partnerships, programs and projects to benefit all of our stakeholders. The year 2008 promises to be an even better one for NCBTMB, our certificants, our profession and the thousands of people we serve each and every day.
Happy holidays and Haouli Makahiki Hou (Happy New Year) … from all of us at NCBTMB.
